Point Zéro is an artist collective that formed around Jean-Michel d´Hoop, a theater director who has led numerous projects. In 1993, the company received the Prix Théâtre du Meilleur Spectacle (Theater Prize for the Best Performance) for their first piece “Yvonne, Princesse de Bourgogne” (Yvonne, the Princess of Bourgogne) by Witold Gombrowicz. From 1993 to 1998, they created and ran a new space dedicated to the contemporary production “Les Vétés” (former veterinary school of Anderlecht). Since 2006, Point Zéro has rented a production space in Saint-Gilles. To this date, the collective has put on over 20 productions.

The School of Ventriloquists by Alejandro Jodorowsky

Céleste, the hero of this crazy adventure, falls from nowhere onto a desert street.
Seized by panic, he survives the fall and finds his way to the garden of an unusual school of ventriloquists run by the Sacrosanct Director.
Parachuted to this parallel world where marionettes rule, he struggles like a madman to find his way. Will he make it?

Three Old Ladies by Alejandro Jodorowsky

The story of Garga, a 100-year-old servant, and 88-year-old twins Grazia and Meliza, decrepit and fallen aristocrats who still dream of finding their prince charming. A mysterious canvas for taxidermist actors, puppets and odd objects that hold their own among Goya’s monsters and surrealist of all kinds. A polysemic tale, an invitation to distrust appearances and family stories, stereotypes and other props of convenience.

Borgia, a contemporary comedy by Thomas Gunzig

Appearances can be misleading (isn’t this always the case in theater?). This work is not about the Borgia family. The starting point is far more intimate and personal: I wanted to work with the family and awaken the ghosts that haunt every family story, yours and mine. Working with the family means opening doors to secret chambers, inquiring without being sure of obtaining answers; this is, without a doubt, because families are the cradles of our lives and doors that never close on the reasons and mysteries surrounding our existence.
